Complementary expertise is used not only in realisation of telecom and IT projects, but also in interdisciplinary undertakings. Typically, it is complementary to the core expertise but indispensable to realise supporting tasks. It requires high-level professionalism as well as relevant methodologies (e.g. Living Labs). Complementary expertise can be used in the following tasks:
- programming, implementation, integration or testing results of research projects
- organization of consortia (especially with partners from new EU Member States)
- project management
- analysis and market research
- international dissemination
- realisation of pilot implementations
