[:pl]Projekt CIPHER (ang. Integrated cyber-security framework for privately held information systems and European roadmap) realizowany jest przez konsorcjum złożone z 4 partnerów: firmy Everis z Hiszpanii (jako organizacja koordynująca), ITTI Sp. z o.o. z Poznania, i Tecnalia z Hiszpanii oraz Politechniki w Delft z Holandii. Projekt rozpoczął się w styczniu 2013 r. i trwa 2 lata. Projekt jest współfinansowany ze środków Komisji Europejskiej w ramach programu Prewencja i Walka z Przestępczością (ang. Prevention of and Fight against Crime – ISEC).
- Działania w projekcie CIPHER koncentrują się na prywatnych systemach informatycznych (tzw. PHIS, ang. privately held information systems), zdefiniowanych jako systemy informatyczne, których właścicielami są organizacje publiczne lub prywatne i które przetwarzają (zbierają, przechowują) dane prywatne.
- Głównym celem projektu jest stworzenie tzw. ram metodologicznych (ang. methodology framework) składających się z serii zaleceń i najlepszych praktyk dotyczących polepszenia bezpieczeństwa w systemach informatycznych i zapobiegania cyberprzestępczości. Pierwszym etapem prac będzie szczegółowa analiza i diagnoza obecnej sytuacji w obszarze cyberbezpieczeństwa, także z perspektywy prawnej oraz z uwzględnieniem kwestii etycznych. Analiza obejmie również międzynarodowe i krajowe inicjatywy, strategie i polityki związane z cyberprzestępczością.
- W ramach projektu powstaną także rekomendacje dla Komisji Europejskiej odnośnie kierunków i obszarów do dalszych badań w zakresie bezpieczeństwa prywatnych danych w Europie.

Integrated cyber-security framework for privately held information systems and the European roadmap) is implemented by a consortium of four partners: Everis of Spain (as the coordinating organization), ITTI Sp. with o.o from Poznan, and Tecnalia of Spain and the Technical University of Delft in the Netherlands. The project started in January 2013. And lasts two years. The project is co-funded by the European Commission under the program Prevention of and Fight against Crime (ang. Prevention of and Fight against Crime – ISEC).
- CIPHER project activities focus on private systems (ie. PHIS, ang. Privately held information systems), defined as systems owned by public or private organizations which process (collect, store) data private.
- The main objective of the project is to create a so-called. a methodological framework (called. methodology framework) consisting of a series of recommendations and best practices for improving security in IT systems and prevent cybercrime. The first step will be a detailed analysis and diagnosis of the current situation in the area of cybersecurity, also from a legal perspective and taking into account ethical considerations. The analysis will also include international and national initiatives, strategies and policies related to cybercrime.
- The project will also recommendations for the European Commission concerning trends and areas for further research into the safety of private data in Europe.
